God gave us all the tools and skills necessary to feed and move our bodies appropriately, and it was only when we humans started trying to interfere with this process that everything went haywire. Unraveling the mess can be difficult, especially with so many mixed messages out there. My goal is to take it back to the basics and reset your mind and body to the state it was intended to be in, a state where you can flourish.
There is no "one size fits all" in anything in life and this is true for your body’s health and wellness as well. Everybody and every body is unique. I believe in utilizing a completely individualized approach based on your body, genetics, lifestyle, and goals. I will work with you step by step from where you are now, to reaching the life you want to live.
I believe in using evidence based skills from DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), intuitive eating, and a HAES (health at every size) approach.
